The Zombie Village – Barback/Server (Fri, Sat is a must)

Stepping in from the busy streets of San Francisco, The Zombie Village takes our guests on a journey to drink in our main bar surrounded by towering idols, in our Voodoo Lounge covered in skulls, and in our hidden reservation booths. If you enjoy providing memorable experiences and working in a fast-paced environment, the barback position at The Zombie Village may be right for you. We are looking for persons who have prior experience in a busy bar or restaurant location or persons who are eager and willing to learn about Tiki and Tiki-style cocktails. Most shifts will be between 3 pm and 3 am.

Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders with daily service
• Maintain overall bar cleanliness
• Prepare batches and other cocktail ingredients
• Wash and organize glassware
• Retrieve and keep adequate levels of bar stock
• Clean as part of opening and closing duties
• Take and deliver drink orders to seated parties
• Act as subject matter expert to guests and aid them in making selections
• Determine situations that need to be escalated to the management team

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail
• Able to follow directions
• Basic math skills or an ability to use a calculator and understand proportions
• Good interpersonal skills
• Has or is willing to obtain a CA Food Handler’s Certification and RBS training required
• 21+ years of age or older
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
